2019 Red Bull Hardline DH Race – Practice

What happens if you take a bunch of the world’s best downhill racers and freeriders, add a dash of Air DH and sprinkling of Rampage, then give Dan Atherton a digger and a steep hill in Wales? You get the madness of the Red Bull Hardline, that’s what.

This is one of the gnarliest DH races on the planet – it’s a crazy mix of muddy roots, steep rock chutes and narrow lines in the forest, along with big drops and massive jumps. The natural lines are raw DH and the jumps have perfect transitions shaped by the expert hands of trail-builders Dan Atherton, Olly Davey and their crew. It’s a race, so fastest rider wins. Some riders go for speed, others go for massive hucks and tricks, and some just want to survive.
